How The Job Actually Goes

Our Process

Here's exactly what happens from the first call to water running at the tap — no mystery, no steps skipped. You get the price first, and the truck comes after you've approved it. The same process applies whether it's a new well, a repair, or a pump problem; only the middle of the list changes.

Step by step

From your call to water at the tap

1. You send us the details

Where the property is and what's going on — new well, failing well, no water at all, or a pump problem. A few questions on the phone or through the form is all we need to start.

2. We pull the records and price it

We read the well records for your area: how deep wells near you go, how much casing they take, what the ground does on the way down. That, plus what your job needs, gives us your number.

3. You approve the quote

You get the price up front, free, with no obligation. Take your time with it. Nothing gets scheduled and nothing gets filed until you say go.

4. We handle the permit

New wells need a well construction permit from the water management district. Once you've approved the quote, we file it and deal with the district directly — you don't touch the paperwork.

5. We schedule and drill

Now the rig comes out. Drilling and setting casing for a new well, pulling and replacing failed casing or a pump for a repair, or swapping a pressure tank or pump for a system job. We tell you what we find as we find it.

6. Water at the tap

For a new well, we develop it until it runs clear and test the yield, then tie it into your pump and pressure system. For a repair or pump job, we confirm pressure and flow are right before we leave. Either way, you've got water before we're done.

Why the order matters

The price comes first, and the truck comes second

A lot of outfits won't talk numbers until they've sent somebody out, and by then there's a man standing in your yard and a reason to say yes on the spot. We do it the other way. The records tell us what wells in your area take to finish, so we can price your job before anybody drives out. You look at the number on your own time, with nothing owed and nobody leaning on you.

It also means the permit never holds up your quote. We only file it once you've approved the number, so there's no wasted paperwork on a job that isn't happening. And if the ground turns up something genuinely unusual once we're drilling, you hear it from us right then — the price you approved is still the price you're working from.

What goes into your quote

  • Typical depth for your area, out of the well records
  • How much casing the well needs
  • What the ground does on the way down
  • Residential, agricultural, or irrigation use
  • Distance from the well to the house or pump house
  • Access to the spot where the rig has to sit

Questions we hear a lot

Process FAQ

Every well drilled in Florida leaves a completion record behind, and we read the ones around your address — how deep they went, how much casing they took, what the ground did on the way down. We've been drilling across these seven counties since the early 1970s, so we know what those records mean on the ground. We put them together with the specifics of your job and send you a price. It's free and you owe nothing for it.

We do. Florida requires a well construction permit from the water management district before any drilling starts, and we file it once you've approved the quote — you never have to deal with that paperwork yourself.

The records are a good picture of what wells in your area take, and most jobs finish the way we priced them. If something genuinely unusual shows up downhole, we stop and tell you what we're looking at before we go any further. You won't find it on an invoice after the fact.

That depends on our schedule and what you need — a no-water call gets moved up faster than a planned new well on raw land. We'll give you a real timeframe with the quote, not a vague promise.
